Your First Visit

  1. 1. Patient Forms

Upon entering our office, one of our staff members will welcome you to our office. We will request that you complete some paperwork. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.

  2. 2. Consultation

Next, you will have a consultation with one of the doctor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial consultation is designed to learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.

  3. 3. Examination

After your consultation, one of the doctor will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your range of motion and flexibility. Standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

  4. 4. X-Ray Studies

Depending on your specific condition, X-rays may be indicated. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us to any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. Imaging (including X-rays and MRI’s) are not done on site, but patients will be referred to an imaging center when necessary.

  5. 5. Report of Findings

Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, we will go over our findings. You will be given a detailed report of all findings and we will answer any questions including: How can you help me? How often do I need to come in? What will my treatment cost? After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your spine, we will discuss recommendations. We will provide the best treatment and wellness program for your needs.

  6. 6. Treatment

At the conclusion of your report of findings on your first visit, if treatment is indicated, you may choose to experience your first treatment. This may include spinal adjustments, stretches, and/or soft tissue treatments. Treatment is interactive, and at any time you can discuss with our doctor your choice of different styles of treatment.

  7. 7. Home Care

Prior to leaving the office after your first treatment, one of the doctor will give you instructions regarding home care and lifestyle changes. This may include specific instructions on using ice and heat, activities to avoid, and what you can do outside of the office to be proactive in speeding up your response to treatment. Every person is unique, and therefore everyone requires a customized treatment plan.

Payment Options

Twin Tiers Chiropractic believes in the value of wellness care for you and your family and have maintained a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets. Our office participates in most insurance programs. We also accept auto accident and workers compensation cases. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, payment programs can be arranged.

Insurance

We participate with most insurance plans, including Excellus: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna and MVP. We will accept personal injury, and auto accident cases.

No Insurance

For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, payment programs can be arranged if the doctor feel they can help you and if treatment is indicated. All fees will be discussed prior to services being rendered. If you have no insurance or do not have chiropractic benefits there is still a way for you to receive the care you need. Many patients are willing to pay directly for care, as they discover chiropractic to be extremely cost-effective and affordable.

Health on a Budget

At Twin Tiers Chiropractic, we’re convinced that a small amount of your time and money to care for your most important asset–your health–will be far less time consuming and expensive than trying to recover it.
